Events, Pre-Orders, and Free Offer!
More chaps and events coming your way + a bonus offer this week
We’ve been plugging away behind the scenes working on our new projects, while Casie has also been on the road to celebrate the Mid/South Anthology at special events. Here’s the lineup of what’s next:
Yet as much as we love the anthology, we’re also excited to share more books with you! This month, in addition to our two new prose microchaps, we’ll be publishing Nikki Ummel’s Hush, followed by Kyle Vaughn’s The Alpinist Searches Lonely Places and a prose microchap by Khem K. Aryal in November. Here are details for the readings to celebrate each of these projects:
Join us Saturday, 10/8, at 3:30pm for a reading with Jane V. Blunschi and Cassie E. Brown, authors of Prose #3 and #4. Sign up here to get the meeting link in your inbox.
On Tuesday, 10/25, at 7pm, we’ll have a virtual launch for Hush, which will include opening readings by fellow Belle Point authors Kirsten Reneau and Madeline Trosclair.
We’ve also just scheduled a virtual launch for our November releases: mark your calendars for Wednesday, 11/9, at 7pm to hear Khem and Kyle read their fantastic work.
Leading up to these events, you can pre-order the first three of our poetry chaps to get a bonus postcard with your order (including Renee Emerson’s The Commonplace Misfortunes of Everyday Plants, which we just opened this week)—or, if you’re craving more Belle Point poetry, you can sign up for our subscription bundle to get all five in this series at a discount + reduced shipping. And to highlight our prose writers, we have a special deal this week: all chap subscription orders will get a bonus prose chap for free! This deal ends Sunday, so jump on it while you can.
If you can believe it, there’s more. We’ve also just opened pre-orders for Christy Lorio’s forthcoming prose chapbook, Cold Comfort—a collection of brand-new essays and original photographs chronicling her cancer experience. You can learn more about that special project here. If you’re unfamiliar with Christy, you can check out her website.
Phew! Let’s all take a moment to breathe, and then we’ll get back to work on preparing to bring these new works into the world. We’re grateful for all the support you’ve already shown, and we’re eager to share what’s next.
Onward!
