Hey, folks. We’re entering the last few days of our first crowdfunding campaign and have been grateful for the response we’ve had so far! But we still have a ways to go to reach our goal for the Mid/South Sonnets print run + shipping to contributors of their complimentary copies (have we mentioned that shipping costs are going up again?).
You have several options to choose from!
$5 will get you a regular Belle Point logo sticker + a poem postcard.
At $10, you can choose from an acrylic pin, magnet, or larger holographic sticker that features our special Fort Smith map logo.
Pre-orders for the Mid/South Sonnets anthology are $20 and include shipping—an easy way to be among the first to get your copy and save a few bucks.
We’re also ordering a special batch of Bella + Canvas T-shirts with our limited-edition logo, which you can get for $30.
Beyond that, we also have bundles of our other books + both anthologies, ranging from $40-$90.
We should be on schedule for an August pub date but are primarily concerned about rising print and shipping costs. The anthology will likely be more expensive to print than our initial estimate, so every order will help keep us on track.
In the meantime, we’re ready to share our latest cover reveal!
As C.T. and I brainstormed cover ideas, I mentioned the hope that we’d find a map image of the two rivers (Poteau and Arkansas) that comprise the historic “Belle Point” near the original Fort Smith. He suggested looking into Sanborn Maps and voila! We were lucky to find one with such vibrant colors that also pays homage to our roots as a press. Fun fact: turns out the Arkansas River meets the Mississippi near C.T.’s area—yet another reminder that we’re all often more connected than it may seem.
However the Indiegogo campaign goes, we can’t wait to get this book in your hands later this summer! Please help us spread the word and consider contributing if you’re able.
The cover looks so good!!
