November Releases: Prose and Poetry
Three more chaps coming your way this month!
Hope everyone had a safe, fun spooky weekend. Just a quick update on our new projects this month.
Today marks the official release of Khem K. Aryal’s installment in our ongoing Prose Series! His short story, “His Grandma Blues,” is #5 in the series and sports this vivid red cover:
You can order it by itself here or grab the Prose Series bundle here.
Next week, Kyle Vaughn’s poetry chapbook, The Alpinist Searches Lonely Places, will be published, but we’re starting to send out pre-orders now! Reserve your copy here.
We’ll celebrate both of their projects with an upcoming virtual reading on November 9; sign up here for the private meeting link.
Finally, Christy Lorio’s prose/photography chapbook, Cold Comfort, will be officially published November 15, but we’ll be spending time with Christy tomorrow evening in a virtual reading. Sign up here to get the link and join us at 7pm Central (11/2)—and of course, pre-order Cold Comfort if you haven’t already to show your support! Thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised over $700 so far to support Christy’s family. You can also check out Christy’s interview with us from last week here.
Next up, we’ll be working to get out the rest of our poetry chapbooks, releasing some more Prose Series installments, and moving into our first group of full-length poetry collections after the New Year. We can’t wait to share these talented writers with you—and as always, we are grateful for your trust and support for this growing new press.
